HTC, everyone’s desire.

As the HTC One has been launched already and has been out for several months now and therefore has come down a little in price. HTC one now can be picked up for around £500 for the 32GB model. The iPhone is new, so its a little expensive than HTC one. iPhone devices starting at £559 for the 16GB models, £639 for the 32GB and £710 for the 64GB.

The screen and resolutions of these two phones varies. The iPhone 5s has a 4 inch LED backlit IPS LCD with 640 x 1136 pixels. A capacitive touchscreen giving it 326 ppi. However, the HTC one has a 4.7 inch, super LCD3 capacitive touch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels ehich works out at 469 pixels per inch. In this case, the HTC one comes on the top.

In iPhone 5s Apple has put the combination of its New Apple A7 processor and M7 motion coprocessor that makes the iPhone 5s twice as fast as its predecessor when It comes to graphics and CPU performance. The HTC one has a Qualcomm snapdragon 600, quad-core, 1.7 GHz processor that comes with 2GB DDR2 RAM. However, Apple’s iPhone 5s wins here.

The camera of iPhone 5s is 8Mp. Apple maintains its 8Mp camera trend. This time the camera has an improve sensor that’s said to be the best in any smartphone, while HTC one has over come with the megapixel and has described its 4Mp camera as an UltraPixel camera

When it comes to the operating system, HTC wins as It has the Android operating system running in it, and iPhone 5s runs on iOS. Theres no point in comparing android and iOS

The dimensions of these two phones are great, and they have a very unique and classy look the HTC One (137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm) is taller, fatter and wider than the iPhone 5s (123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm), and is also heavier weighing in at 143g compared to the iPhone 5s’ 112g.

Samsung Galaxy tab 3 7” review

galaxy-130429

It’s becoming clear that people love smaller tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a 7-inch screen tablet with a budget price of £179, which makes it slightly less than the £200 new Nexus 7 2 but more than the £130 Asus MeMO Pad 7 HD.

Typical of the Galaxy series phones and tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0’s casing is plastic. It’s shiny, glossy plastic just like rear of the Samsung Galaxy S4 or Galaxy S3. Unlike Samsung’s phones, though, the rear of the tablet is not removable. This helps to ensure the back doesn’t feel too flimsy. However, there are a few light creaks you can squeeze out if you put pressure on the wrong part of the casing. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is also significantly chunkier than the 2013 Nexus 7, at 10mm thick. However, this gives it a pleasant heft that’s thankfully not accompanied by the same heft in weight. The tablet weighs just over 300g making it – like most 7-inch tablets – light enough to use one-handed. Some will accuse the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 of feeling a little toy-like. But once you’ve made peace with Samsung’s questionable tablet design style, this feels like a well-made device for something that is – let’s not forget – an entry-level device.

The Galaxy Tab 3 is a competent enough tablet that will perform many of the tasks you want it to, although some of the noticeable lag when opening applications may turn off some owners.  Samsung certainly improved the look of the Galaxy Tab 3 to reflect its smartphone Galaxy devices, which may be a hit or miss to some users depending on how you feel about either device’s plastic exterior.

Renew, Recycle Re-Apple!

Apple has recently announced new iPhone 5C, it is rumored that iPhone 5C will be a cost effective phone, but actually it is just iPhone 5 recycled in a new plastic case. It will be slightly cheaper from iPhone 5S. The main feature of iPhone 5C is its multiple gaudy colored rears. It is available in five different beautiful shades green, yellow, blue, white and pink. It has a LED –blacklit IPS LCD and a capacitive and highly responsive touch screen. Memories available are 16 GB as well as 32 GB; it will have easy access to Wlan, Bluetooth and USB. In iPhone 5C, Apple has included the previous generation camera of 8 MP and the secondary camera is of 1.2 MP. Processor of iPhone 5C is dual core 1.3 GHz. IPhone 5C has high resolution, pin sharp 4 inch retina display. The processor is as fast as that of iPhone 5, as it is equipped with same Apple A6 chipset. It has a non removable li-ion battery which gives you talk time up to 10 hr and standby up to 250 hr. The iPhone 5C certainly is colorful and is a new approach for Apple, but it is just a recycled iPhone 5 in a plastic case. This fact is far more disturbing than the fabulous features for some customers. Phone 5C is undoubtedly going to be an efficient experience. I am saving to buy mine, you plan for yours!

Android is still the leader in the United States, but iOS is starting to catch up!

1-iOS-vs-Android1
As expected Android still leads the smartphone market in the United States and according to a recent analysis it’s among the most profitable regions for the smartphone industry. However compared to last year’s results, It seems Android is starting to lose its grip on the crown that it earned after many hard fought battles against Apple. On the other hand Apple is once again on its way back thanks to its new iPhone 5 and iO7. These new additions has clearly bought back ate last some of Apples lost fans and has therefore increased its overall smartphone sales. At this point Apple has gotten an overall 3% increase over its already gigantic share of the smartphone market which goes to show that it’s far too soon to rule them out. On the other hand Windows OS has seen great improvements but is still far behind the leaders, where as the BlackBerry OS share has dropped to 1.1% from 4% indicating that this must be it for them. However for now the battle is between Android and iOS and the others are just fighting for 3rd place.

The international version is expected to be available this September. Till now there was no valid information regarding the AT & T version of the HTC One Mini, but as it turns that some pretty convincing press shots of the AT & T version of the device. As you can see in the image attached above, the design has remained the same and it will probably sport the same specifications as its international counterpart, AT & T has also embedded the logo almost perfectly without affecting the design in the back.  All this hints towards a soon to come HTC One Mini announcement from AT & T , after all its a device every career would want to represent.
